:: Valuation
Valuation is the process of determining
the current worth of an asset or a
company. At Opulence, we exercise many
techniques that can be used to
determine value, some are subjective and
others are objective.
Business/Division Valuation
The process of determining the current
worth of a portfolio, company,
investment or balance sheet items. We
make use of various tools for asset
valuation, which include quantitative
methods and statistics, financial
statement analysis, ratio analysis,
fundamental analysis, and valuation
economics.
Brand valuation- Other intangibles-
License/copyright/trademarks/technology
Corporate intellectual property (items
such as patents, trademarks, copyrights,
business methodologies), goodwill and
brand recognition are all common
intangible assets in today's
marketplace. At Opulence, we also offer
valuating these intangible assets. |

Valuation of equity shares
There are several methods used to value
companies and their stocks. They attempt
to give an estimate of their
fair value, by using
fundamental economic criteria. We focus
on perfecting the theoretical valuation
with market criteria, as the final
purpose is to determine potential market
prices.
Employee share based compensation
valuation
We are providing ESOP based solution for
valuing employee share based
compensation, which is followed by many
MNCs for employee incentives.
Impairment of assets (technical
valuation)
Opulence also provides valuation of
company's asset that is worth less on
the market than the value listed on the
company's balance sheet. This will
result in a write-down of that same
asset account to the stated market
price. Accounts that are likely to be
written down are the company's goodwill,
accounts receivable and long-term
assets.
Valuation of financial instruments
We provide valuation of all financial
instruments (wiz. equity, debt etc.) for
corporate as well as Strategic Business
Units |
